Death on the Nile" is a detective novel by British author Agatha
Christie, first published in 1937. The story is set on a steamer
traveling down the Nile River in Egypt, and features Christie's famous
detective, Hercule Poirot, who must solve a murder case involving a
wealthy heiress and various suspects with motives to kill. The book was
adapted into a film in 1978 and a new adaptation is set to be released
in 2023.
